We did not want to offend anyone so unfortunately kept it to ourselves. Our server was excellent and someone did come by our table and ask how things were. The filet was good, not great, the pork was fatty and the short ribs were good. We each had different entrees and an upcharge of $40 was charged for the filet. We had the smoked beet and citrus salads which somehow for us at least did not work for our palates. I made the reservation via Open Table, we arrived and all four of us were in agreement that the food was not the usual quality that it always has been in the past. We also have dined at the sister restaurant in Charlotte which is Peppertree. always went to for special occasions, when we had guests and even traveled up from FL on my birthdays to eat there for many years. We went to Artisanal Restaurant in Banner Elk with friends two weeks ago. I have never posted a review of this restaurant before that was anything but good but feel compelled over the experience we just went through last week.
